Le Dispatcher - 2
Actually, we should call it "the Fractioner", because it fractionates a single frame in 16 different pictures; this allows to obtain 16 animated pictures that are perfectly synchronised, just because they "come" from the same tape...
This is the original picture
divided in 16 equal parts:

And this is the installation of the monitors on the stage.
Each of them is corresponding to a portion of the original picture.

This way, we can build some characters, shapes, objects,
that fit with the shapes of the groups of monitors:

in the case of camera movements (travellings, zooms, panoramics...), it can be interesting to recreate these movements through an animation between the monitors themselves, that gives a wave effect that crosses the whole stage:

it could be amusing to fractionate a "normal" picture (I mean "not already divided", for example, the picture from the light camera on stage), in this case, the result is a bit... randomised...:

Anyway, this installation allows to create some decorative animated elements that take place among the performers at the front of the stage.

So it is very important to know exactly the format of the pictures (or of the portions), as well as the video standard that will be used by this system, as well as the possibilities to disassemble a "vidi-wall" (and eventually to keep the original "frame-less" monitors, it would be better...), to reinstall it on stage.
The making of the video tape dedicated to this installation is quite complicated (let say...long!), but the result should be attractive as well as all the possibilities in terms of scenography, that go from a sophisticated light-show to a narrative tool ( with the webmasters-singers that appear in these monitors). That's why we really need to know as much as possible (and as soon as possible) all the specificities of the equipment that will be use during the representations.
